The makeblog has posted an interesting entry about the largest book ever published in the world.The worlds largest book ever published is from the tiny country of Bhutan.The book is called “Bhutan: A Visual Odyssey Across the Kingdom” and its author is a scientist named Michael Hawly at the massachussets Institute of Technology.

Each copy of the book is 112 pages and costs about $2,000 to produce.The book details the large and diverse natural habitat of bhutan which has been described as being very beautiful.Guinness World Records has certified Hawley’s work as the largest book ever published.In fact they state that the book is about 133lbs.

The make blog has an interesting post regarding a visual guide made with Comic Life, which is a comic book creation software for the mac.Lock picking has produced a large amount of enthusiasts,who come together and share their knowlege of Lock Picking.It is described as being a fun/challenging hobby and some even go to the degree of claiming it as a sport.

This comic verson is simply a brief introduction to the art of lock picking by Locksport International.It shows a visual step by step guide into picking locks.The comic is catagorized into chapters from introduction to locks,various picking methods,necessary tools and even a membership application to join Locksport International.

In my view,Lock picking would be fun to do,but not to the degree of my complete devotion.However,I wouldn’t mind picking couple of locks for fun.

What a thoughtful idea. I mean there is a lot of darkness in this world, and today more than ever I believe we are travelling through uncertain times. I have a lot of respect for Juan Mann who started all this out of pure human kindness. We need more people like him.
