Samsung has recently released the first ever 70-inch LCD�panel tv for consumer Tv market. Currently the largest LCD tv is only about 65 inches(a 5-inch incrase is still something).The company�plans to�introduce its 70-inch LCD HDTV at the International Meeting on Information Displays in 2006, which will open in Daegu, Korea on August 23. In my point of view ofcourse there are bigger tv’s such as the LG.philips but seriously can anyone of us fit one of them in our houses. In that sense of the matter I would definitely consider samsung’s take in the market, a more practical and viable decision.

Samsung’s Executive vice president described the increase in screen width as being being insignificant but however he feels the Tv has set new bechmarks in terms of video image reproduction, viewing angle and image quality.
